So i just read an article that says you can take a Horus heresy army with predators as HQ and troops.
I've been considering starting space marine heresy army (i play thagmata) and was wanting something armored.
I want an army that i can flex between a 1K or less allied detachment up to and including a full 3K+ army eventually.
What i'm wondering is, first does my list structure even work, second how competitive is it, and third will i even be
able to put all the tanks on the board and have them be useful? I say iron hands, but i don't think it matters so much
when you're all vehicles? Here's a rough ideal for a 2kish list.

Hq 3 predators with command tank, lascannon sponsons, dozer blades, and one with machine spirits and executioner
cannon.

Troops 2 separate predators with lascannons and dozer blades

Heavy suppourt 3 squads of 3 vindicator laser destroyers with dozer blades.

Elites As many laser destroyer rapier platforms as i can fit to fill points.

I've done a bit of mathhammer and the vindicators are kinda terrifying. maybe machine spirits to split fire off for overkill?
Also, my meta in Hours Heresy is light on meltas, but i wonder if i still should have it because that's one of my main threats.
