So I run renegades and heretics and already use Mantics line, Kings of War Undead for my zombies. Looking around in the site, dead zone plague faction caught my eye.

I'm thinking of buying the starter and booster boxes. Use the three big guys as Giant Chaos Spawn, the second gen mutants as Chaos Spawn, and all the other models would be used to bolster my cultist/guard infantry.

So, does anyone have these models and something in 40k to scale them to, preferably the models I want to use them for, but I'll take what you can give me !

Thanks!

The third gen guy looks a little shorter than a space marine, so as long as the newer ones keep that I should be okay. If theyre a little bigger than my IG its okay because theyre clearly more mutated but taller than space marines would be a harder sell.

The 2nd gen looks a little smaller than id like. You have your space marines on 32mms right? Maybe that's why (or theyre just a little smaller)

I think of all the bigger models, that one is the smallest, and I want to say its just under what I want, so getting it a bigger base and a little bit of cork board should get him the proper size

Thanks!

If you're looking for more mutants and like the Plague figs you should definite, check out the "Strain" models from the sedition wars boxed set. Like Mantic, they're made from restic, but the sculpts are quite good and they look very compatible along side Mantic figs. My buddy did a space mutant force by combining the two lines.

No pics with other ranges, but he does show how the two lines combine.

I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the best thing about Sedition wars, the price!. 26 Strain figs for less than $30 (via amazon) and you also get a game and a bunch of human sci-fi guys also.
