So it looks like InXile has the crowdfunding for Wasteland 3 going. I'm backing it since I liked Wasteland 2 and loved the Director's Cut.

Man, I loved Wasteland 2, but it was a console NIGHTMARE. The text was impossible to read, other than that it played great.

I'm looking forward to this. The first and second halves of Wasteland 2 were so different in quality. That's to say the second half was much better, which really stops me from playing the game again as the first half starts to feel like a slog at times.

So hopefully whatever they've learned will make Wasteland 3 a wholly better game.

I never did complete the second one, getting stuck at the old Ranger compound bit with no idea where to go, but I do have a thing for that style of game.

I'd be into this regardless of what they showed in the trailer. That looks pretty neat though. I like the snow, maybe just because its hardly seen in the setting. The custscenes were unexpected too.

Personally I'd like to see a bit more character customization in this one. Not to say the first one didn't have much, but more is always better. Its just that I'd like to emulate the character portraits a bit better this time around (if that's what they're using instead of just pictures of the 3D models like for instance Dragonage did).
