So I'm trying to come up with a way to assemble some catwalks for a terrain project, and I just can't find anything right for the flooring, I don't want it to be solid plasticard, and brass etching is too thin...

Ideally what I'm looking for are the flooring tiles you see in this picture. I want to get as close to that as possible, and I've run out of ideas.

This range any good for you? I know it's plastic rather than MDF.

I don't know about paying 40-50 dollars for that entire set just for that one little "connector sprue". Also, I kind of need my catwalk to be longer than... 6 inches or so?

The connector sprue is the part with the little square pegs for clipping it together.
I'll concede the length of the catwalk in that set is less than useful, but the range also lets you buy individual sprues, which is why I posted.

It does look close enough for my taste, but it appears to be out of production... There is one box available on ebay... It'd cost me over $40...

Yep, go MDF. Try Systema/Wargames Tournaments/Sarissa Precision, Warsenal (Stateside), etc.

They're a licensed product to start with (all of the "Hexagon", "platformer", "powerstation" stuff is. I believe the originals are Russian, but they've been released through Airfix, Urban Mammoth and Pegasus in the past). I picked up an unopened box of the "chemical plant" set (platformer plus tanks and pipes) for $10 last weekend at a con 2nd hand stall, though.

So they are still out there.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
