I've been trying various flavors of Dread-Rain lately while painting my more competitive army for 2017, and I came up with this for an upcoming event. Our meta tends to have a fair amount of low strength shooting, so I thought a few Dreads might actually contribute for once. I also admit, i've loved the damn things since before I had ever even played 40k, so before I shelve my Wolves for all but the most casual play, I thought i'd give them one semi-serious go.

We play the ITC missions, so I am thinking the addition of the Warp Spiders will have value in the objective game, whereas I have been previously running a big blob 'o Thunderwolves for those points previously (but who always withered to volume of small arms fire).
