I really like the theme of the Salamanders, so I came up with an army list, but, I want you guys to review it and criticise it as I've never played space marines before!

Attack Bike with Multi-Melta and a TL Boltgun [50pts]
Heavy Support (125pts) Devastator Squad - 4 Devs with 2 Missile Launchers, a Multi-Melta and a Plasma Cannon, 1 x Sergeant [125pts]
I like where you're going with it I only have a handful of suggestions and questions, since you haven't mentioned your tactical plan.
1. I'm assuming that you're running full 10 man squads yes? That where you mention the weapons you're including the model holding the weapon?
2. Assuming as much, I would suggest you combat squad your Tactical marines; one half Sergeant and flamer marine, the other half Multi Melta Marine, that way you can pop a vehicle then torch anyone riding in it.
3. I would swap out the Rhinos for Drop Pods, you get into Melta/Rapid fire range a lot faster and for the same points.
4.Same for the Ironclad, finding points for a Drop pod will be very beneficial.
5. As much as I admire you for choosing Attack bikes and going against the grain, I do feel that you get more bang for your buck with Landspeeders with Multi Meltas and Heavy Bolters. More Mobile and same cost.
6. I was never a fan of Mixing weapon ranges in Dev squads, even if you combat squad them, your still too mixed to get consistent coverage.
Don't want to be too harsh, just throwing out what I see might help.

Subject: Re:[1850] - Space Marine - Salamanders List
Cheers for the advice Aedgar Perri, using your advice, I swapped out the attack bikes for 2 Land Speeders (This we're 60pts each with the Multi-melta, so with th e spare 40pts, I also got rid of the IK Thunderstrike gauntlets and the tactical marine sergeants storm bolters, freeing an additional 25pts, lastly, changing rhinos to drop pods for the Marines gave 30pts more. Using these 95pts, I got drop pods for the devastators (now all with missiles) and one for the Ironclad. Overall, I really liked your idea about combat squading the Marines and also getting rid of different weapon ranges on the DevStream ty for the help!
