Just been checking out these brushes online and they look like pretty good, cheaper alternatives to Windsor and Newton.

Anyone ever used them before, and If so, what sizes would be the closest equivalents to a GW standard brush and detail brush?

What do you want for tea? I want crisps!

I use them for the majority of my painting. They're great. Not quite as good as W & N 7 series, a little less durable, but there's really not much between the two. 33 series are definitely the ones you want.

I don't know about analgous to GW sizes, but a size 1 will do you for most of your painting, a size 0 for particularly fine work. A 2 can be handy for basecoating an some detail work. Provided you don't duff up the points of course.

I've heard nothing but praise for Rosemary and Co. as quality, affordable brushes --- brilliant customer service and incredibly fast shipping. Even in the U.S. their shipping is excellent.

I've got plenty of brushes to burn through before I need new ones, but Rosemary and Co. are at the very top of my list.
