I haven't seen any deathwatch lists include razorbacks, must be a reason I'm missing. I was thinking though it's enough room to carry a min Aquila squad with librarian. But really, my main use im contemplating is as a cheap 75 points with lascannons to sit on backfield objectives, something you don't want you kill teams wasting time doing, and has the range to help remove hull points on enemy armor.

If I'm not mistaken when using the decurian style detachment it's the cheapest model they have since you can't take single bikers in that detachment I believe.

People go for Drop Pods over RBs due to the alpha Strike capability.

If I could take a single Razorback in the Black Spear Strike Force, I would.

5250 pts
3850 pts
Deathwatch: 1500 pts
Imperial Knights: 375 pts

If I'm going for metal boxes I want to bring the rhino so I can fire frag cannons out of it.

That does sound like a better delivery system. I was really only thinking of the razorbacks being there to contest objectives. Move up, dump marines, go sit on an objective while the marines do other things. but i guess then the marines would have to slog from wherever they got let out.

Personally, allying in a Predator is much better use for Lascannons, or even just a Devastator squad. Deathwatch will always be allies anyway for me, so bringing Lascannons isn't what they are going to be focussed on doing. Rather, the normal SM will be bringing the long range firepower, and the Deathwatch will be hurting the things that get too close for comfort.
