Nah, I think it's more along the lines of curse of the wulfen 2: warpic bogaloo.
I feel like this is 40k's Nagash. We'll get rules for him and some other large centrepiece models but I fear they won't last. I really hope I'm wrong though.

We are already seeing multiple books/scenarions like End Times like Baal and Angle Blade, Wulfen.

I know, and these books are clearly moving the 40k 'plot' somewhere. Bringing Daemon Primarchs back is a huge step. I don't see changes that big coming without some sort of shake up at the end, which i suspect will involve the ruleset. All speculation though. I'd like to be wrong.

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all.
I'm gonna drop here that it looks like there's a second model to the right of the box that you can see the edge of the base for and a bit of a foot. Could it be a Tzeentch Greater Daemon? Or could Magnus just be Alpharius? Just thought it was important enough to mention.

Could be a dual model for a Demonic/Non-Demonic Magnus?
I predict Daemon Primarch Lorgar will be 40k Nagash and usher in the end times. Then Sigma rimes appear at the eleventh hour and save the galaxy in honour of the statue GW built in front of their HQ. Because GeeDubs.

If you look close enough, the area where that second model is aligns with what could be the side flap of the box if you were to flatten it out for trash disposal.
The sides tend to have an image of the model but cropped to fit and sometimes in an alternate angle, and if you look closely? You can see that the image on the side seems to be of the tabard between the legs from a different angle.

To be honest, it's too hard to tell considering how battered the box is. You also have to consider how the writing at the top is aligned. It wouldn't be central if there was a flap where you mentioned, and not being central would be a little odd.

Like two years of rumors from rumor mongers with like 90% success rumor rate and you think this is fake.... okaaay then. Guessing you haven't seen the warmer TV video where they all but confirm plastic sisters.

Yep the video featured plastic Tzeentch Marines (is that already a kit?) the painted Magnus and a verbal joke/tease about plastic Sisters of Battle.
I'd like to see the storyline move heavily for 40K. You can keep all the races status quo but I'd like to see Chaos come back into power and effectively separate the existing Imperium (making warp travel super dangerous) and put all of the good guys on the back foot in a big way.
And if that's an indication of a Thousand Sons codex (rather than a CSM campaign supplement) I'd be all over that like a rash, especially if it fixes the problems Thousand Sons as a unit have (like not forcing the Aspiring Sorcerer to roll on the worst Psychic Discipline in the game).
And you have the (granted, 30K) Ahriman or whatever coming in the next 30K boxed game. So looks like it'll be a good time to be a Tzeentch/Thousand Sons player.

it's the same model just a smaller pic and turned slightly.
