Hey,
what is the current meta for BA kill teams?

I'm 99% sure that following question is useless, but still going to ask. Do you need to take fe. jump packs to whole group like death company, so all models need to buy a jump pack if one model takes it? You can't do it like buy 2 sniper rifles to scout squad..

I can choose my kill teams from rhino, tacticals with all available weapon options, assault marines with all options, sternguard, death company and scouts. My dc are all kitted with CCW/BP. Magnetized backpacks on assault marines and dc. You don't see much of BA in kill teams that's for sure, but as a only BA player I really can't switch a codex.

I was thinking the following:

5man tactical squad with missile launcher in a rhino (tac sgt gets FnP, tac with ML gets expert marksman)
5man scout squad with CCW/BP and missile launcher (scout with ML gets relentless)

Any suggestions? I'm playing my first ever Kill team game this month.

I'm not 100% sure on the meta for blood Angels personally but I can offer my 50 cents.

First up yes, everything must be purchased as normal for the squads as you would during a normal game. It's only once they hit the board that they become individual units.

Honestly I quite like your weapon and specialty choices. Killteam missions usually all revolve around getting very close to eachother so MAYBE blasts aren't sensational choices, but then again if they're grouped on say "seize the ground" it could cause problems.

I will say, flamers are amazing. Heavy flamers with relentless are hilariously good in my meta. If you can get those, I might recommend it.

Another trick I find good is that because of the limits to troops, 1 elite and 1 fast attack that initiative in combat is king. There is a harlequin killteam in my group that, if it reaches you, you lose 100% of the time. If the DC or SG or something in your codex has higher than average initiative that's a good choice.

Your list overall looks solid enough, positively drenched in bodies, the rhinos are great choices against most people and can be used late for the line breaker equivalent.

Hope some of that helps at all with my complete lack of knowledge of your codex

Cheers

I wasn't thinking missile launcher as a blast weapon, more of an AP3 "sniper".

Yeah totally get that, it serves the dual purpose. Absolutely use it to snipe specialists and leaders early game, just don't be afraid to play the numbers game instead of the high ap game. Remember at half strength the enemy has to take leadership checks for EVERY model which does on failure.

Heavy flamers are assault. And assault cannons are heavy. Classic.

Would you guys choose the above or 3 units of scouts with 9 snipers, ML, HB and 4x CCW/BP?
