I play a couple of armys and with he announcement of gw saying that plastic sisters will come out I am at sorta a cross road
Do wait and expand my sisters army or do I start a new army
One of the main reason why I want to start a new army I so I can finally get into painting
Ever since I got into 40k I always didn't like painting so I would get my brother to paint my minis or I would buy them pre painted
But recently I started building my models and really wanted to start painting so I could be proud of my army
But most of my sisters are already painted by my brother and I don't want to screw up the paint job mostly because they are painted white and purple
I want to start a slow grow black legion army especially because I don't care about winning and I just want to have fun
I get paid tomorrow so should I buy dark vengeance and a box of chaos space marines and try to paint them or should I save the money and wait for sisters
I am not very short on funds so if I do get the chaos I can still get sisters just not that many also I still have 3,000 points of them as it stands

You pretty much answered your own question

If its in your means and it is something you want then you should go for it.

painting more now and getting better at it will only make your eventual sisters look better too.

also you can always still use metal sis next to plastic sis im sure so it wont be nearly as bad of a purchase in the future anyway.
