Looking to do an easy army to transition between some Age of Sigmar games and 40k, so was thinking of doing a KDK daemon army based around the Bloodied Horde formation. So the selections are pretty easy:
Formation Detachment (2000)
Lords of Slaughter
* Bloodthirster of Unfettered Fury (250)
* * Warlord
Lords of Slaughter
* Bloodthrister of Insensate Rage (275)
The Bloodied Horde
3x Bloodcrushers (170)
* Banner of Blood
* Instrument of Chaos
*Bloodhunter
3x Bloodcrushers (170)
* Banner of Blood
* Instrument of Chaos
*Bloodhunter
8x Bloodletters (115)
* Banner of Blood
* Instrument of Chaos
*Bloodreaper
8x Bloodletters (115)
* Banner of Blood
* Instrument of Chaos
*Bloodreaper
8x Bloodletters (115)
* Banner of Blood
* Instrument of Chaos
*Bloodreaper
8x Bloodletters (115)
* Banner of Blood
* Instrument of Chaos
*Bloodreaper
8x Bloodletters (115)
* Banner of Blood
* Instrument of Chaos
*Bloodreaper
8x Bloodletters (115)
* Banner of Blood
* Instrument of Chaos
*Bloodreaper
8x Bloodletters (115)
* Banner of Blood
* Instrument of Chaos
*Bloodreaper
8x Bloodletters (80)
Skull Cannon (125)
Skull Cannon (125)
This (mostly) fits with an AOS army except for the squad sizes for the Bloodletters, but I was wondering what the problems would be in 40k for this list? I know KDK tends to have issues with armor and being mostly melee focused, but would bringing the pair of Thristers help to make up for those sorts of problems? I figure there's not a lot to modify outside of the 'thirsters given how strict the Bloodied Horde formation is, but if there's anything glaringly wrong with the list, would be interesting to see if I could correct it without having to swing into too many 40k specific models.
