These seem like excellent weapons. Rending, wounding on 4+, precision shots, increased range.

Thanks to wounding on 4s always, you don't have to worry about higher toughness targets and use the non poisoned ammo rounds (ignores cover, +6" AP4, or AP3).

The problem is that they're heavy and the range isn't that good. This seems like a serious weakness. Other than the endurance spell, does anyone have some ideas on how to counteract this weakness?

Cataphracti terminator armour comes with Slow and Purposeful I believe, so an attached HQ wearing that will allow you to fire and move but you lose the ability to overwatch and run.

I think they could find some good use in kill team. A stalker bolter or two in the backfield with the rest of the force moving up.

They can have both Bolt guns and Stalker Pattern Bolt guns. So when you need to re-position your guys, you can fire your regular bolters.

Great point. Omg. Does anything think they should be given a transport? I don't a drop pod makes any sense here.

I used them as backfield objective campers. They all died but they did so fashionably.

Strength and fashion!

Maybe they need a transport or something.
