HI all, I'm a long term BA player and what to give them a new go with some of the additions from angels blade. I play vanilla marines as well and generally think they do most things better so I wanted to try a list different to anything that vanilla can bring.

The lost brotherhood strike force jumps out as being alot better than the demi company and I have a load of death company models so it seems like a great choice. I've paired it with the lucifer armoured force to give it some much needed ranged firepower and because I really like the idea of a fast LR redeemer :-)

If I get first turn then all the DC will attempt a charge if possible whilst the preds try to gun down any targets I don't think they can handle, the techmarine and jumppack-less DC will obviously hide in the redeemer and make a beline for the oppositions troops to burn them.
I know the list will have major problems with certain lists, knights, going second to death stars and alot of others I'm sure.
Do you thing I should go with all normal preds or perhaps sub in a Baal?
Has anyone played with or against a similar list? If so what did you take away from the game, pro's and con's?

I'm trying out the lucifer armored task force as well but using a baal strike force as the main detachment. I've seen quite a few batreps of the task force in action and it's pretty good but risky like most BA stuff. I would definitely run a baal predator or two. An outflanking baal with flamers can wreck a flank quite well. I think you'll have fun with that list. I posted my version up earlier if you want to see what I'm taking differently.

Thanks for your thoughts, I think I'll swap in a single baal with ass cannon and heavy bolters, I think the flame version is a bit redundant with the redeemer in the list. Leaves me enough to points for a melta bomb on the DC chaplain.
