With BaC box I started templar themed imperial fist army led by sigismund. Unfortunately I didn`t have a lot of time to play. Now I want to start playing again. I want core of my army to be terminators(fists and storm shields), sigismund, termi-chaplain and primus medicae- all in spartan, this comes around 1100 pts. Some of my opponents also run deathstars, i.e. 10 butchers and angron. Does mine has a chance against them?
What should I take on remaining points? I definetly want to take laser destroyer rapiers and maybe jetbikes. I also like new custodes but there is no rules for them yet. Is it worth taking into my army Stone Gauntlet RoW? Sadly the is no templar RoW. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the Heresy.

First of all, don't try to play Deathstars, it is not what the Heresy is about.

But to answer your question: you will have a hard time against butchers and Angron as they just hit like a truck. (Also pure shild terminator body guard are the furthest away from a proper 30k feeling army as you can possible get.)

On a side note, IF Termiantors tend to be overshadowed by the templar Bretheren. So if you realy, realy want to play IF as boring sigizentric beatdstick, take templars instead of terminators, as they are not bulky and you don't need a primus to give them feel no pain.

Well, Calth came with 30 marines, conteptor and terminators. Terminators were a logical choice to built list around them. I want to have army focused on close combat because that`s what templars are about. Templars look worse because they have ap3 and worse invuln save. I`m new to the game, so I may not understand something. So, leaving around 400 points to custodes what to take on remaining?
