Hi all. I've been messing about with My BA and I've stuck together a list. I'm just looking for some feedback on it.
My group is quite conservative when it comes to 7th's rules and we stick to 1.5k and a single FOC and don't use formation's, detachment's, LOW, Unique unit's, Allie's, flyer's or Psyker's.
I'll probably be fighting against my mate's Nurgle chaos marine's and have written this list with that in mind. From poor memory the list is usually based around:
Biker lordw/ fist and claw, 5 bike's 2 meltagun's, 1 fist and banner?, Maulerfiend, 2 plague marine squad's w/ melta and fists in rhino's, these usually stick together. 2 foot plague marine squad's w/ plasma and swords, 2xX cultist's, obliterator's, predator make a solid core with the defiler thrown in occasionally. The former is usually on a flank and the latter just plod's through the middle. The army is solid and can take a kicking like no other SM's can. T5 and FNP is a great combo to have on your basic troop's.
With the above in mind my list is;
S-priest: JP, PW,*
Furioso: frag cannon, DP
DC(5): JP, 1x PW,
DC(5): JP, 1x PW,
Tac Sqd (5): plasma gun, combi-plasma, DP,
Tac Sqd (5): Melta gun, combi-melta, DP,
Tac Sqd (5):HF, combi-grav, rhino,
Tac Sqd (5):HF, combi-melta, rhino,
Aslt Sqd (5): 2x m-gun's, vet: p-fist c-melta, JP,*
Land Speeder: typhoon,
Land Speeder: typhoon,
Ball Predator: hvy bolter's,
Predator: T/L LC, LC, Fast,
This leave's about 25 point's left for a few upgrade's.
The list break's in to 3 group's: 2 group's of 1 tac in rhino's, 5x DC, Land Speeder and a predator. 1 group is the 3 unit's in the DP. This leave's the priest and his unit to do whatever they like.
The DP do their usual stuff and the rest make a fast solid force to push a flank or even through the middle as there are quite a few dude's there. Or they can split on to either flank and still have enough to force a push.
So that's it really it is quite a simple list and tactic's but both fast and solid should help right?
