Hi I was told told to do a friendly introduction so here goes. I am a warhammer 40K hobbiest who has found himself very few other players painters in my home village to bounce ideas off. I have my local store in the big city but depending on who's there my insurectionist views on current rules and codex: testing (Biased). are soomewhat shuned.

My view is that all codex rule should be created by some one plays that faction. then play tested by players who each play a diferent faction who then mediate and agree on the final ruleset. It's a fairer way of doing things and you don't have invincible adeptus astartes.

so before I start asking questions and helping people with creative advice I Explaine the project that brought me here. I am creating a fan created codex: covering all chaos factions; Space Marines, Daemons, Cultests, Traitor Guard, Traitor Mechanicus, Chaos Knights, Dark Ministorum, Rouge Inquisitors, Beastmen and mutants, and would appreciate and welcome input and ideas from other players and the wider hobby community.

OK the wanderer returns. My project needs two different sets of information. Where to by cool minis to convert and modify into the units whose rules will be in the codex, and somewhere to post the rules so other dakka members can share there input and add there own ideas and help me keep the codex: fun but fair.

I don't know forums to post in.

Also I'll be posting updates here as long as the thread stays open for people who are contributing to or following the project. If I need to do this somewhere else could some please point me in the right direction. Thanks.
