Just looking for some input, I prefer to make all-comers list and this is similar to what I have used in the past.

personally I would drop lascannon and heavy bolters on those demolishers as they snap fire them after the demolisher cannon

Would you not be worried about a weapon destroyed resulting in a armored heavy bolter haha

I could take those away and it would free up a good chunk of points.
Would dropping a wyvern, the LS/Hbolter sponses and trying to fit in amother Manticore potentially be worth it.

Or what would be a good use of another 150ish points spent?

Well I wouldn't be too worried about weapon destroyed results as your opponent will just grav/ glance you to death anyway meaning they wouldn't do that in the first place. A good use of 150ish points would be a 50 man conscript squad with an attached priest 2 if you see lots of precision shots/ stomps as they can bog down key assault units or gargantuans/ super heavies in your opponents army

A few suggestions:

Try to avoid expensive single-shot weapons like Lascannons on "normal" infantry with BS3.
I would suggest the Autocannon would be a good all-rounder for that.

The Veteran Weapon Teams have the BS 4 so there I would place the Lascannons.

Frag grenades get really expensive over many units, are you planning on having all these troops looking for melee?
Do not put them on heavy weapons teams: they will be assaulted, not the other way around (plus you would be doing it wrong).
If you DO plan on blobbing them up, getting a priest somewhere would be necessary.

A couple master of ordinance look like fun.

A Primaris psycher would be a consideration for buffs you could apply beyond the orders, you could attach him to the Command Squads.

Those tanks have to get awfully close to kill anything with those Demolisher Cannons and all the other guns cannot do much because of Ordinance.
Leman Russ Exterminator can be fun for it's reach and amount of Dakka.
The Punisher is great with 3 Hvy Bolters and the Hvy Stubber with a Tank Commander or better yet: Pask.

The Basilisk is a bit tough to field due to it's rather long minimum range bands.

The Wyverns are great for horde clearing so I cannot complain there.

I would say that the Heavy Weapon Squads would be best buried in with actual squads, their morale is terrible on their own and mobility is an issue.

I would strongly suggest one squad of walkers with plasma: BS3 is not an issue with those and the points are a deal.

I would suggest the meltaguns would be better spent on a veteran squad in a Chimera unless you do not plan on the command squad issuing orders when they are out tank hunting.

The above can give some flexibility wo whatever you take-on and you have the option of blobbing-up some units and between a priest and the Primaris, you can try some interesting things.

Conscripts would be a consideration as "bubble-wrap" for some of your artillery to prevent some outflank or deep-strike issues.

Good-luck!

I tend to bubble wrap my units near artillery.

And I believe you are talking about Krakow grenades since frag are showing up automatically.

I do like the exterminator with plasma sponses.

I thought about taking out the Hey Weps teams but assumed they might not even be shot at with all the other guns around them.

I haven't played 7th at all so this is a hypothetical list.

Like I said I am thinking of what if I face a eldar list or a terminator heavy, flyer heavy etc.

Basically I would like to know what armies could crush this basic idea of an army and why they do so. So that I can help account against them. I don't believe in changing of your army for an opponent since you can't in a tournament.
Sadly I wanted to play DKoK since I have a platoon of infantry for theme and 6 squads of engineers/drills. But sadly the drills suck a ton now without being able to damage things on the initial deep strike in. :(

That works!

Sorry, was automatically assuming it was picked as an option since you listed it (like mentioning flak armor which should have tipped me off)... did not check.

That's the idea! any means to decrease the BS3 liability or Ordinance making sponsons useless.
I found these guys helpful in a pinch for shooting at aircraft due to the re-rolls.

I must admit, they are a juicy target for the occasional "spare" weapon potshot: they would not be ignored for long and are an easier kill.

Pretty good so-far.
For the more "competitive" list if you take-on a nasty opponent, look into optimizing a potential guard-blob, they are an answer to a few deathstar units out there.
The good thing with this is you do have the option to blob or not at the beginning of a game.

I keep leaning toward use of a Vendetta but it's points cost is not much of a deal but the 3 twin-linked lascannon adds some air superiority and a bit of tank-buster capability.
Food for thought anyway, while we are on the topic of flexibility.
Well the meta "crushers" is:
1) Eldar with their incredible psionic abilities particularly with shrouding or invisibility.
Their bikes with the heavy weapons and their ability to move back into cover after firing.
The Wave Serpents still have this nasty shot they can do.
Their Lords of War are super nasty and tough: they are pretty powerful in all elements.
2) Tau, an incredibly shooty army.
Riptides are the big hate at this time, insane capability for the points.
A whole bunch of special rules for shooting down anything deepstriking.
Multiple Tau squads can fire on charging units.
Markerlights, pretty much an answer for anything that is difficult to kill.
The jetpack suits can play peek-a-boo like the Eldar bikes after shooting.
Sadly I wanted to play DKoK since I have a platoon of infantry for theme and 6 squads of engineers/drills. But sadly the drills suck a ton now without being able to damage things on the initial deep strike in. :(
They are a cool looking army but can get pricy to keep the full theme.
