sadly the entire infantry platoon is one troops choice so you would need another for a cad a quick fix would be to swap them for veterans in chimeras but they wanna be equipped with meltas or generally more expensive special weapons

What do you mean by a cad? (Pls explain) Wouldn't I have sufficient Troops choice with this list?

so when I say Cad I mean a Combined Arms Detachment the requirements for this is a HQ (pask) and 2 troops.

The issue being is that an infantry platoon which is 1 troop choice consists of:
1 platoon command squad
2 infantry squads

and as you need a second troop for a CAD you would need another infantry platoon or make your two infantry squads veterans and drop the command squad this would give you 2 troop choices

He already has two troop choices:
The inf platoon
The Vets
Hes ok CAD-wise.
