I have been searching through forums to find an answer for the interpretation of the Crawling Fire rule when using phosphe on mortars - so when hitting with a barrage:

Do I get that 2 inches move only for the initial marker I place and scatter, or do I get it also for the other markers I flip from the initial one? So far I have found on forums just two people saying yes, but no more opinions, I would like to hear some more before I bring this to the guys I have played with today, as they said it works probably only for the initial blast marker.

Thx for any insight, I am not an experienced player, so I am never absolutely sure about the rules interpretation...And I dont trust those mates English skills either..

order of operations (from my understanding):

1) choose target
2) scatter
3) adjust up to 2" so long as it covers more models

4) for multiple barrage templates, return to step 2
5) repeat 'till out of blasts
6) resolve wounds

that's exactly how I would understand it, but those guys i was playing with were agrumenting with the singular of the word "blast marker" in the rules entry, saying it's not in plural, hence i get just the first, which i find a bs and think the argument should be whether the "flipped" markers, as pp usually call it barrage flipping, are considered as placing a marker or not...if yes, then it should get the crawling fire 2 inches in my opinion...
