Hey guys. I'm looking to make a unique model, and to do it I need two, empty, outstretched arms. where can I get these from?

In case you were wondering, they'Re going to go on a kind of deathwatch hero/inquisitor's ally model. I plan to get a fairly large base, or even make my own large base, possibly out of rocks, and stab a power sword down into it in front of him.
Any thoughts on what base I should use?
I'm going for casual steeliness.

There are two outstretched arms in the SM Rhino kit.

With some cutting and minor re-posing I think these are your best bet.

3000pts Blood Angels (4th Company) - 2000pts Skitarii (Voss Prime) - 2500pts Imperial Knights (Unnamed House) - 1000pts Imperial Guard (Household Retainers)

2000pts Free Peoples (Edlynd Fusiliers) - 2000pts Kharadron Overlords (Barak Zilfin) - 500pts Ironweld Arsenal (Edlynd Ironwork Federation) - 1000pts Duardin (Grongrok Powderheads)

Wargaming's no fun when you have a plan!

Outstretched how?
Like a zombie, like a crucifixion, holding the pommel of the sword, to the skys a la Platoon, at 5 and 7 o'clock in a non threatening way or something else?
What do you want the hands doing? Clenched fists, pointing, open, palms up to the sky/ground, palms facing forward in a non threatening way or something else?
One of the 'Space Marine Casualties' could work with a hand swap, Bikers or that Sergeant from AOBR could all work.

There are a number of pointing arms/hands out there. Also, IIRC the GK strike box (PA guys) has a number of empty hands on it.

Another thought for if you want an “at-rest” marine is using arms with weapons built in. Like a powerfist or lightning claw. In a similar vein, the sternguard box has an arm resting on the hit of a sheathed powersword.

Real hard to get a marine with no weapons, he is a weapon!

Seriously though, I would check eBay and brouse bits, might see something right up your alley.

The Sanguinary Guard sprue has quite a selection of empty space marine hands. Their guns are wrist mounted, so they don't don't hold anything in their left hand. Unfortunately, I don't think there are any right hands. I'm pretty sure the Devastator sprue has right and left pointing hands, and possibly an open hand. Probably best just to brows the bits stores on ebay and see what comes up. For straight outstretched arms, I think the biker arms are probably the way to go. Just lop the the goofy hands off and replace them with something nice.

Look for a space marine Devastator set, the newest version, it has both left and right hands not holding a weapon.
