So with the leaked rules (Rumored) I was trying to think of a good place to put them, and i was thinking that these guys would make a great command squad with belial in it.

They are basically space marines with +1 to all stats, and have deep strike. I figure putting belial in there and having them deep strike with out a scatter will be great since they have 2 wounds a pop it would force your enemy to target them and free up your other units to move forward. and since they have 2 wounds they wont get totally gimped on the turn they come in.

Thoughts?

Wait they have Deep Strike? I didn't notice that.

That starts to give me ideas. Anyway, stick another character in there or two with vehicle killing equipment and you got yourself an idea.

Some one had suggested a turbo Death Star of them with azrial and Ezekiel in a LR, everything gets a 4+ invul save.

Azrael is the first logical choice. Everyone would be able to keep their Halberds for the most part, because a 4++ is still awesome. My only fear would be Wraithknights and Imperial Knights locking them in combat forever, so something needs to be done for them. Belial should keep his Sword because Fleshbane is awesome, but where would the AT come in?

Smashbane also needs to be there and Dante for the Hit And Run. Does anyone have a realistic looking list yet?

They cost too much for a beefy not very mobile unit.... And investing ICs into the unit will only make the unit even more of a big dead weight.

1. No powerful shooting like GravCents, so no point combining them with Draigo for gating.

2. They can't charge after deep striking.

I'd rather stick with gravcents, TWC, iron priests, command squad on bikes for deathstars.

I think it's a fine idea with proper transport like a LR
