Does anybody know which consul best compliments the Emperors Children?

A Legion Champion is fluffy to me, but a Primus Medicae never goes wrong, especially in a large squad of CCW Tacs.

A Champion, a duellist, is the most loyal to the lore for Emperor Children. You can equip him with a Paragon blade and a Jump Pack and attach him to a unit of Palatine Blades.

Chanpions are the obvious choice, especially as they are required for the Maru Skara RoW.
The Primus Medicae is another option (Fabius Bile, anyone?).

ooh. I forgot about Fabulous Bill. Although from what I can see primus medicaes are better in terminator squads and that just wouldn't feel right

While a champion is a very fluffy choice, many people seem to forget that every legion had a bit of everything so you could take whatever you wanted really.

Yes, you can take whatever you want, but the Legion Champion is actually an amazing choice for Emperor's Children.

And pretty much all the support consuls will find a place in some army lists.

The emperors children did not make use of librarians, though they supported Magnus at the council of nikea, they saw being a psyker as an imperfection, so it wasn't allowed

Champion or a Chaplain.

Lucius VS Charmosian exemplify that particular cointoss.

In terms of playing the game, its hard to argue that a chaplain isnt a very strong force multiplier for the Emperors Children. Phoenix Guard greatly benefit from them. As do the Palatine Blades.
