Leaders
Freeguild General On Griffon (300)
Freeguild General (100)

Celestial Hurricanum With Celestial Battlemage (320)
Battlemage (100)

Units
Freeguild Guard x 10 (80)
Freeguild Guard x 10 (80)
Freeguild Guard x 10 (80)
Freeguild Greatswords x 20 (320)
Demigryph Knights x 6 (400)
- Lance and Sword

Behemoths

War Machines
Helstorm Rocket Battery (180)

Batallions

Total: 1960/2000

So this is the free peoples army list I am planning to build.

Freeguild guards might be anvils while the Griffon general, Great-swords and Demi-knights break through enemy line.

The Rocket Battery and Celestial Hurricanum will snipe enemy ranged troops or Heroes.

army looks pretty good to me but might have trouble against the below.

How would you deal with "deep striking" armies or the orks that can basically charge turn 1?

I think adding a gryph hound will do great against deepdtrike forces. Its only 40 points so the list would be within 2000 points even if i add it.

for the order side gryph-hound = auto add

I wonder if splitting you gryph knight would be better than taking a bulk unit.

also Not sure how strong the lord on griffon is but for 300 points may be better spent on units. You dont have much in the way of shooting so you may want to consider some archer type units as a long range army may give you a real hard time also.

I just played a game against Dwarf army, and felt really difficult to deal with their war machines and archers.

Thanks for your advice
