Hey guys so with the new box coming out I have finally made a list based on the contents of this box and the Betray at Calth box that I picked up last year (Saved all my special weapons!) . I also plan on getting one box of the MKIV marines to help fill out this list. Now I recognize that there is nothing that really screams word bearers as this is just a core army using those boxes. I do plan in the future to get some Gal Vorbak and Ashen Circle. But fluff wise the bearers of the word had huge unit sizes so I got that part down! Here are a couple of questions. I plan on using the MKIV for my large 20 man tac squads and using MKIII for the tac support squads and the tac Heavy Support squad, is that cool? The command squad doesn't occupy a force org slot right?? (I've been playing since 2nd edition but this is my first marine army!) Also if you have a suggestions to which rite of war to take I'm all ears. And if you see any glaring errors be sure to point them out! Thank you in advance.

Hi ! So, what's the point of taking Erebus ? Normally, you take him when you want to ally with daemons without having to take the Dark Brethen RoW.

Also, which RoW are you taking ?

I do have a lot of deamon models so I do plan I using them. As far a ROW I was thinking dark brethren so I totally see your point. Do you have a suggestion for another one? The reason I chose Erebus is because the chaplin model in BOC box has all the wargear that Erebus has, so it seemed perfect to use him. Would you recommend just using that model as a diabolist? I just got the new army list book last night and I have book 5 so these are the books I used to come up with this list. Thank you!!!

If you want to take Erebus, I would recommend to take the Pride of the Legion RoW to use Veteran Tact and Terminators as troops and use daemons allies. Erebus can thus fille the chaplain requirement for a WB army.
If you take a Dark Brethen RoW to have access to the daemons without Erebus, then take a chaplain, a preator and a diabolist (all your requirement will be met). It will also give your units access to Dark Channelling and some nice anti-psykers rules (thougth psykers are rare in 30k).
