im thinking about making a vanity purchase for my kdk army and getting a forgeworld thirster, but im trying to get a concept on how much larger it is compared to the current GW model. I have not been able to find a image of the two side by side on google, would anyone be able to through up a shot if you have both models would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Here ya go. Personally I still prefer the Forge World Thirster. The GW one occupies about as much volume, but that's because it's more frayed out than the FW one, who has arms like literal tree trunks.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.

An'ggrath is probably my favourite Forgeworld model.

Although I'm sure no one would complain if you used him as a regular Bloodthirster, he is a bit too big for a T6 W5 monstrous creature.

Thanks for the speedy response. That gives me a better perspective. I enjoyed all generations in the same pic goes to show how much modelling has evolved.

The forgeworld version looks far more impressive.

But costs more and more trickey to transport with a long whips and such.

Also shows a model scale creep..
The old ones are smaller.. And evolution of details is impressive.

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

I have no clue how Dakka's moderation work. I expect it involves throwing a lot of d100 and looking at many random tables.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all.
