Hi everyone,
Another one from me I have just finished my legion champion. He is a kit-bash of various Forgeworld bits including rampager bits, World Eaters upgrade bits and an Imperial fists' power axe. Let me know what you think.
Thanks for looking

“Because we couldn’t be trusted. The Emperor needed a weapon that would never obey its own desires before those of the Imperium. He needed a weapon that would never bite the hand that feeds. The World Eaters were not that weapon. We’ve all drawn blades purely for the sake of shedding blood, and we’ve all felt the exultation of winning a war that never even needed to happen. We are not the tame, reliable pets that the Emperor wanted. The Wolves obey, when we would not. The Wolves can be trusted, when we never could. They have a discipline we lack, because their passions are not aflame with the Butcher’s Nails buzzing in the back of their skulls.
The Wolves will always come to heel when called. In that regard, it is a mystery why they name themselves wolves. They are tame, collared by the Emperor, obeying his every whim. But a wolf doesn’t behave that way. Only a dog does.
That is why we are the Eaters of Worlds, and the War Hounds no longer."

He's looking decent. I'd put a wash of agarx on the base though to make the cracks stand out, and give the rim another coat to cover the overspill.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll give that a go Automatically Appended Next Post: Do you think the base would benefit from a tuft or two of dead grass?

The paint job is really nice, but his pose is too static for me. Great mini though.

Yeah, I get what you mean about the pose. Unfortunately those. It's were all I had to work with and I'm not very good at reposing stuff and making it look good.

I'd also add a bit of shade where the mud covers his foot. Right now it just looks like glopped paint on there.
The white overall is very good, especially when you consider white being one of the hardest colours to do.

The white paint looks really rough to me, either the gray highlights are not contrasting enough with the white making it look uneven and gloopy, or your paints are not thin enough and it is uneven and gloopy (I don't think that is a word but you can get my point).
I agree with a wash on the base to bring out the mud too. I like contrasting my bases with the rim color too, but that is just a personal preference.
