I wouldnt call these done but I have to step away from them for a few days so that I can reset my eyes and look at them with a cleansed palette. I know the banners need work, we'll see what else I go back and touch up.
So now that I have a bit more confidence, I wish that I had spent time glazing. I wasnt sure it would all work out during the process, so I feel like I can take a slower approach next time and work on blending.
Anyway I wanted to share, this kind of stuff is something Ive always had an internal voice saying 'You cant do that' and now that Ive tried it in earnest its really not that bad. Nothing world changing but its a
big step forward for me as a painter.
