Hey dakka, I am gonna be stopping by my local GW tonight and I am really stumped for what to get for expansion of my Space Wolves.

I have -

20 skyclaws
20 grey hunters
4 drop pods
10 wulfen (two squads)
Various different characters (a mix of rune priests and wolf lords/battle leaders)
A venerable dreadnought with a shield and axe.
3 Thunerwolf calvarly and a mounted wolf lord
9 terminators (I know strange number, don't judge )

I have exactly $80, and really not much else to spend, so with tax the SC! is out of the picture I think (although it would be nice).

I was thinking another dread, probably built as bjorn because I like the idea, even though I know he kinda sucks, and some fenrisian wolves or Long Fangs if I can really push the issue .

Any tips? Anything I am seriously lacking? Long fangs seem important and very strong, two boxes of them might also be a good idea because then I can have a unit with 4 lascannons and 4 missile launchers.

Thank you!
~Mikey

Save your mullah & get a start collecting box.

I don't break the rules but I'll bend them as far as they'll go.

Start collecting, METAL BAWKES, or more Drop Pods imo. Long Fangs are nice but they aren't amazing because they are fairly expensive but lack the rerolls to hit and/or penetrate that certain vanilla space marines can get.

Another suggestion is to look at the Wulfen Edition Codex and find a Greatpact that looks fun to play and use your money to fill in the gaps to complete one of them.

"Hold my shoota, I'm goin in"
Armies (7th edition points)
7000+ Points Death Skullz
4000 Points
+ + 3000 Points "The Fiery Heart of the Emperor"
3500 Points "Void Kraken" Space Marines
3000 Points "Bard's Booze Cruise"

It depends on what you usually play against, and where you find your force lacking. You have plenty of Drop pods for your force, if you wanted to go with Ragnar Blackmane's Great compnay, one more drop pod for your Dreadnought would just about cover you (you can find them on ebay for $25-$30 easy). what you are lacking right now is and air support to deal with enemy flyers (if that's an issue). With the 'Death From the Skies' suppliant that just came out, you can add just about any Imperial Flyer to your Space Wolves army and paint it to match, so you have options there. Not sure how your squads are equipped, but you also seem to lack any real anti-armor. My person favorite is to put an Iron Priest and a few servitors in a Storm Fang equipped to hunt enemy vehicles.

How about some wolves people underestimate them quite often because they have only a 6+ save but when ten slam into a tau squad they are mince meat.

There's also the formation that lets you combine several packs which increases their attacks.

They are cheap points wise and can threaten most things.
