Hi all,

About to build my first deathwing command and would love some advice on what to equip them with. I have previously built a squad of deathwing knights so I basically have double the options available in one box of deathwing for my command squad.

I was thinking to build it like this:
Deathwing Champion
1 x TH/SS with Cyclone Missile Launcher
1 x TH/SS
1 x storm bolter and chainfist
1 x storm bolter and power fist with deathwing banner

What do people think? The unit would be pretty epic in close combat (even more so if terminators actually had two wounds :( ) with lots of very powerful attacks (and the champion hopefully taking care of opposition characters). They would also be okay on the turns they can't get into combat with two storm bolters and a cyclone missile launcher which could split fire at another target if necessary. What do people think? Should I be going for other options? Should I be swapping one of the storm bolter terminators for the apothocary? To me it looks like a shame to lose the power fist to get 5+ feel no pain save.

Thanks,

Daheig

You have enough Power Fists. Terminators will need the FNP. You can lose either the Banner or the chain fist for it.
