Techpriest query #57356:

I am currently planning to build a massive Land Aircraft Carrier and it requires aircraft. The aircraft I seek are the smaller Stormtalons and Stormhawks (as well as the even smaller Land Speeders, such as the Tempest variant.)

Obviously, the GW versions are hella expensive so I question: Are the Dust Tactics aircraft (the Horten, Pelican, and the Soviet helicopter thing) the right size to (roughly) be a Stormtalon? Or at the absolute least a Land Speeder Tempest?

Or are there other model aircraft of similar size? Obviously, if possible, the pilot should be close to 40k size as opposed to say... tiny rattling or smaller sized in some aircraft in smaller scale. Perhaps something like the XF-85 Goblin or some similar tiny chubby little plane?

I have attempted googling the dimensions of the Stormtalon (and Stormhawk) and have had no luck (or havn't looked hard enough), not to mention I cannot get the dimensions of the Dust Tactics aircraft either.

Any help?

Have you checked out Puppets War?
They have a Dragonfly and a Thundercrow.

I can't help with 3rd party stuff, but I can measure my stormtalon for you.

Wingtip to wingtip is 14.2 cm
Nose to tail (not including guns) 13.8 cm
Sitting on the ground, from landing gear to higest point (wingtips of tailfin) is 8.0 cm
The fuselage at the widest point (where the engines attach) is 4.0 cm. The gun pods at the nose increse that to 7.1 cm.
