I painted this for the local GW store for Burning of Prospero launch.

Little bit more context would be nice.

Apart from the base i like it, not too overly done, just sufficient. The turquoise actually fits quite nicely with the Khornesque appearance.

Life is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless and perfunctory gift nobody ever asked for. Unreturnable because all you get back is another box of chocolates. So you're stuck with this undefinable whipped mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down because there's nothing left to drink. Sure once in a while there's a peanut butter cup or a English toffee, but they're gone too fast and the taste is fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits of hardened jelly and teeth shattering nuts. If you're desperate enough to eat those all you've got left is a. An empty box, filled with useless brown paper wrappers.

Solid job, some more edge highlights would be nice.

I will try to use a bigger base for him so that he fits better with my other FW HH characters. Unsure about the black cloak, but I also have no better ideas so I guess I will go with that as well

I love the miniature and think you've done it justice. I'd be against larger basing but I always am --- I do think the sides could be cleaned up, but I understand they're already painted. The side of the base looks to have a lot of gunk/chunk under it for some reason. Could be cleaned up and repainted to make it look more crisp.

It may just be the photo but the brown on the base could use a wash and drybrush or something to make it stand out.

Normally, I would do a little more with the base but I set a hard deadline for myself, Usually I make the store manager base the models I paint for him. I laid down the texture mostly because of the need to be careful working it under the model.

Agreed, The edges need filing and cleaning up, I believe it is mostly rogue texture paint.
