So.. I was thinking of makaing a scarab like destroyer lord, Mayhaps using the Canoptek Spyder model or something but.. I have no diea how to do it.. I'v never converted anything before and dont have much knowledge on such things so I was wondering if anyone could give me a few sugestions on making a scarab like destroyer lord?

I find most inspiration comes from holding the pieces in your hands and feeling how they might fit together. You get a better idea of the shape of things and the gaps you'll have to fill and other pieces you might want to add.

Maybe even sketch out a concept and take a photo of the parts and post the images for people to see.
