What would be some good color schemes for a home-made Necron Dynasty?

So I was thinking a pink base, with blue highlights. Thoughts?

The direct compliment of blue is orange. Pink is pretty close. It can work. For instance I have a deep orangey gold as a accept to my blue necrons. I also make my own "metal" by mixing lead belcher with black to get my base color and then I highlight with leadbelcher. I use red for my energy stuff.

I would need to see exactly what colors you are thinking of before I could give you any pointers though.

I'm not sure yet-I'm currently dead broke so I can't actually get any new paints. I'm just in the planning stage now.

But I'm heading up to my local GW tomorrow, where I'll ask the painting expert who runs it for some advice.

The lighting kind of sucks but here are some pictures.









The back of the Lychguard has the closest color on my screen to the actual gold.

The warriors and Immortals have a black Kartush. The deathmarks have a bone kartush and lychguard have a blue kartush. and the overlord has a gold kartush. The warriors have no gold on them and only blue on the gun. The immortals have blue armor and 2 thin gold lines on their head. The deathmarks have some bone markings on them. Lychguard and up have gold integrated into the armor. Higher the rank the more gold accents.

Okay. I have some more concrete ideas.

Corax White Base.
Lothern Blue on the pads and such
Gauss Blaster Green edge highlighting
Waywatcher Green glaze on the glowy bits

I had one that turned out pretty nicely for my appreciation that I actually, of all places, found in Dungeons and Dragons Online, in the deserts of Menechtarun. What I did is all the plates and "fleshy" parts of the troops were done in Bone, but all the Bone, all the Crevaces on vehicles, and a lot of the accent spots were done with VMC Gunmetal Blue. The Blue is a dark shade, and it contrasts nicely on the Bone over the models. A little sepia wash over the bone to give it some depth, it looked pretty good IMO.

I like my brass ones with black metal weapons and purple accents. I call it the Ka-Varnak dynasty.

I've settled on at least trying the white with blue and green trim. I'll post pics once I get the first models painted (and, you know, get enough money to buy paints.)

Just to throw some of my own in there, I went with the standard metal colour for the bulk of it but added copper/gold accents and blue weapons.
