Howdy everyone.
Recently been getting back into my Blood Angels, a.k.a. The Boys in Red, and I felt the need to read up on the fluff again - I'm also very bored during work hours.
Naturally, I ended up reading about the Death Company and the Black Rage and such, and it occurred to me that I'd encountered a bit regarding an interview with a marine that was suffering from the Black Rage. Now, I figured it was in the most recent codex; it isn't, nor is it in the 5th edition one. Now, I know I've read it and this was beginning to bug me, so off to Google I went.
I discovered a lot of pages concerning fan theories about the future of the Blood Angels, painting guides, several sites selling Blood Angels models (specifically Death Company), and at least one site that was religious-based telling of the bloody-angels...that last one creeped me out. Anyway, I wasn't able to find this bit of fluff, regardless of how many times I clicked the next page button on Google searches - so now, on the verge of defeat, I come to you Dakka - where I'm hardly ever steered wrong.
So, the 'skinny' as it were:
Basically, the 'interview' is written like someone is recording it - the subject is a marine in the throws of the Black Rage and is reliving the end of Sanguinius as he was teleported to the Vengeful Spirit - the marine talks about how his wings curl around him because of how tainted the ship's hull has become, fights he encounters, and then in a moment of almost-lucidity he shouts a challenge to Horus and 'charges', dying of a massive aneurysm shortly after.
That's the gist - I'm not sure where to find it, or even if I CAN find it, but I figured if anyone would know, it would be you guys - but I'd love to know what book it was in.
