This is my attempt to recreate Doombreed the first daemon prince of chaos and one of the strongest followers of the dark gods. I'm going to be attempting to make a model for him to go in my heresy era army so I thought why not come up with some custom rules. These stats are scaled off a mix of skarbrand and mortal Angron for balancing purposes. I could always use An'ggrath rules but I think his rules are slightly over the top (even if overcosted): with that in mind here we go!

Unit type: Flying Monsterous Creature:

WS: 10
BS: 9
S: 7
T: 7
I: 8
W: 6
A: 6(7)
LD: 10

Special rules: Daemon of Khorne, Daemonic instability, Ascendant of Khorne, Eternal conquest, rage incarnate, eternal warrior
Special equipment: Gansükh Blade, Lamellan plate, Rod of Kharnath

Rage Incarnate: Doombreed is a mighty juggernaut of Khorne's wrath, his very prescience is enough to trigger and insatiable thirst for slaughter which twists even the most rational of creatures into mindless, slavering killing machines: Every model (friend or foe) within 12" is conferred Rage and Hatred

Ascendant of Khorne: Doombreed was the first of Khornes mortal champions to ascend to Daemonhood, as a result, his power is nigh unlimited when threatened his rage will soar to new heights: Doombreed must always be the armies general and in addition gains the rampage rule

Eternal Conquest: A primeval horror, Doombreed has slaughtered in Khorne's name since long before humanity took its first steps into space:
When Doombreed declares a charge he recieves an additional D3 attacks instead of the usual +1

Gansükh Blade: Upon ascending to Daemonhood, Doombreeds mortal axe, along with his body was warped into a form more pleasing to Khorne. The blackened blade now ripples with the fire of his patrons wrath:

Strength: 8, AP: 2, fleshbane

Rod of Kharnath (counts as an addiontal hand weapon): Doombreed has been noted to carry into battle a rod of warped human bone shining with daemonic scripture and embossed with the skull rune of Khorne, the sceptre hungers for blood, be it the bearers or the foes empowering it's bearer accordingly

Strength: user, Ap:3, Blood hunger*

Bloodhunger: roll a d6 at the end of each turn, if the result is higher than the amount of models doombreed personally killed this turn then subtract 1 wound from his profile, if the result is less than the number of models he has slain then doombreed may make an additional number of attacks equal to that amount (in addition to his profile) with the Rod of Kharnath

The Lamellan plate: a Baroque breastplate and horned helm worn by Doombreed in mortal life, now twisted by the tides of the immaterium:
Confers upon the bearer a 3+ armour save and a 4+ invulnerable save

So...
I'm not too sure about the points cost, remember that this is only intended for use in 30k where primarch level beings are more accepted. That being said I am aware he is incredibly powerful, maybe too strong? I tried not to make him too overpowered by adding downsides to some of his special rules and penalties.
Maybe the rules are too convoluted. Any feedback would be appreciated

He's slower and has worse BS than a regular prince. My Nurgle Prince will eat him for Breakfast with a Balesword.

I forgot to edit his bs oops, the rules were copy and pasted from my notes. What else would you suggest then? Eternal warrior?

What are you trying to accomplish? Because, still, as it stands, my Balesword Prince (I call him George) will eat him for breakfast.

6 Attacks (not even on the charge-he's got two weapons), hitting on 4s means 3 hits, Wounding on 4s means 1.5 wounds, with a 5+ Invuln, that's exactly 1 wound on average. 1 Instant Death wound.

An enhanced daemon price/bloodthirster hybrid with some of its own rules and wargear essentially. A level below An'ggrath but above hour average thirster or price. To avoid the usual special snowflake nonsense I made him a weak base and looking to work up based on advice

Edited: added eternal warrior and 4++ save

Okay, first thing to address-INITIATIVE! He's slower than your average Prince! make him I9 or I10.

Second off, instant death. He is T7, so Eternal Warrior isn't a must, but consider it.

Third off, give him a 2+ Armour, or a 3/4+ Invuln. Or both.

His armor is 3+ for a reason, I'm going with the whole theme of doombreed as certain ascended Mongol warlord hence the armor and axe. I can't see ancient Mongol armour no matter how demonically infused providing protection equal to that of terminator. I have now added EW and a 4++ save representing his higher favor
