Hi everyone, after a 10 year hiatus i'm getting back into 40k. What is the preferred paint brand these days? When I was painting/playing Vallejo was becoming very popular. Any advice as to which brand to go with?

For a newbie, Citadel, Vallejo or P3 paints are all solid. GW's/Warhammers will stock Citadel, so it's easy to get, or you could order online the other ones.

A lot more options now then back in the day. Vallejo, Reaper, GW, P3 to name a few. All comes down to which you feel gives you the best results. You could find all of them work, and you use a wide range of them.

I do know Hobby Lobby does sell Vallejo now, and you can always order any of them online.
