I bought a second hand Land Raider off ebay. It's painted quite badly and I want to strip the paint off it to repaint it. However I seriously underestimated the size of it! For some reason I was imagining it being slightly bigger than a Rhino, but of course it's huge! The problem this creates is that soaking it in dettol would require a lot of dettol. So much, in fact, that I might as well have just bought the kit new! The only tub I have that it will fit into is one of those big Jacobs Crackers tubs. I bought a tub of ice cream, but even that tub is too small. On the plus side, I do get to eat the ice cream.
Does anyone have any advice as to how I can strip this thing fairly cheaply?

Fairy green spray. You can grt from tesco etc. Sprays on, leave it a while and scrub with tooth brush. Did exactly that on plenty of stuff iv got from ebay.

Biostrip 20 can be smeared on the outside and works in an hour or so. I did my Leman Russ with it, no issues. Gets crap out the treads well, too.

Thanks guys.
Fairy Power Spray I have used in the past, but unfortunately they changed the formula and the new citrus stuff doesn't work nearly as well as the old stuff, which you can't get anymore. Biostrip 20 I haven't heard of, but sounds interesting. So you can smear it on the outside rather than soaking the tank? That sounds like what I need.

Try Isopropyl Alcohol. Fairly cheap and easy to acquire, and the process is very quick and easy.
I did a detailed tutorial on its use here. There may be a potential problem with how easily the paint comes off if the paint is quite old, however you should find it to be a smooth and easy process to get that Land Raider spanking new

Yeah, and it comes in wither spray or tub form. Amazon has it.
