Like the title says, what are the best options the CSM Codex (+Supplements) has to offer against MCs or generally units with High Toughness?
I played against KDK with my Chaos Warband+Raptor Talon, the only thing standing a chance against Bloodthirsters and Deamon Princes was my Biker Lord
with his Black Mace and some very lucky rolls on the Boon Table (Instant Death, T+3, Eternal Warrior ). Any Ideas?

The best way to kill MC's, at least from my experience, is psychic shriek: if you are lucky you could do up to 8 wounds on your friend's MC's, I once took down two WraithKnights in one game using psychic shriek.
Also , drowning MC's in medium strength weapons like auto cannons. This could be extremely effective with the new hellforged warpack filled with either hellbrutes or forgefiends with hades autocannons.

Autocannons are not a good answer because most MCs are 3+ armor so will shrug off ap4 autocannon wounds

Which MC'S are you having issues with? Maulerfiends are one of the few things that might put enough wounds on them, though sadly at I3.

OP mentioned Bloodthirsters and DPs.
Massed bolter fire often chip mine away. The relic Sicaran tank's accelerator autocannon is twin-linked, rending, and ignores jink saves. Those are usually good for a wound or two against my MCs.

You can only get each boon once, so you can't have +3 toughness.
Other than that it depends on the MC, up to toughness 6 csm can deal with them pretty handily. More than that and things start to get hairy.
There's melta, plasma and mass strength 7 or even 8 all work well for shooting. Psychic shriek can work, but that's about the only reliable psychic power we get other than prescience plus one of the options I mentioned earlier.
Assault cannons from obliterators also work. Although simple massed bolters can do the trick too.
For melee there's the black mace, although preferably on a prince for the AP2. Many of our dreads/knights can work. Except maybe the maulerfiend and defiler. WS3 isn't so bad, but the initiative 3 is going to hurt. The decimator at least has higher armour.
Kharn can deal with just about anything. A juggerlord with the blind axe is also good. The sorcerer comes with force weapons, so you just need to cause 1 wound with them if you can activate force. Other than that, hope you have a decent invulnerable save/fnp and bring out the powerfists. Possessed and regular space marines can handily kill them too but that requires special builds that aren't too competitive
Higher toughness is a problem, especially if it's on a gargantuan. You're going to have to slowly whittle them down. Massed rapier spam can work as does a deimos vindicator laser destroyer or two. Psychic shriek still works, but that's about it already. Even double gatling guns on our knight don't do much here.
Melee is even worse. A black mace prince can do some damage. Force weapons may do 1-3 (2-4 depending on who you ask) wounds...if you wound at all. I suppose if you somehow manage to get massed force weapons, but that's unlikely. Powerfists could work if you have enough, which is also not terribly likely. Our dreads/knights still wound them easily though. Unless it's a melee wraithknight. In that case we don't have a solution as csm. Best you could hope for would be to have invisibility up on a knight or D-Thirster and pray it doesn't roll a 6 to wound.
So yea, if you can, tie them up. It takes too much effort to take these down. Possessed with forgeworld/traitor's hate can do it, but you're spending 2-3 times the points on that unit compared to what you're trying to kill. And you're still not guaranteed to kill it.

Eh Maulerfiends can do it then. They're quick enough at least.

Especially with lasher tendrils knocking 2 attacks off the MC's return swings, it makes them a good answer
Probably need 2+ for the redundancy

Lasher Tendrils only care about base contact I think. So what you really want is one to run up with the Tendrils next to it, and charge the regular one just to get S8 hits off that'll ignore armor.

Or the second maulerfiend also has lasher tendrils so that the target loses 4attacks

If I wanted max Maulerfiends in that one formation, two would be Tendrils and the other 3 would be Melta, the alpha being a Melta so that I can rush it off to die faster and get rage.

If I was using that warpack formation I think I'd take maulerfiends as the regular guys but pick a dreadnought to be the alpha. The 4+ invulnerable is only a slight increase in save for maulerfiends and forgefiends but a massive boost for a helbrute
Chaos spawn can hang with monstrous creatures. Without the mark of nurgle they could be one shotted by smash attacks but even killing one spawn each round of combat is a pretty bad return for most MC's. T6 spawn obviously keep most monstrous creatures locked in combat for a while. They can hit back too; if you roll the increased attacks mutation or poisoned attacks you should do some damage.
Helbrutes hurt MC's and often force an MC to rely on smash. D-thirsters are obviously a problem for everything but if you can get a few power fists into combat they should take some wounds off if you roll enough hits.

Helbrutes also can't go anywhere because they're slow.
Plus you want the alpha to die so that everyone gets Rage.

Sorc on a Bike works well, T5 and have him roll 3 times on Bio you're likely to end up with either S7 T9 or I7 A6 maybe both, and your Force Weapon has instant death. and if you get Enfeeble it makes life much easier, in fact the only thing in that tree that would be unuseful would be Smite cause even Hemorrhage allows you to get wounds on 6s with no saves.

Shriek vs Ground targets, Vector Strike vs flyers. I'm somewhat partial to summoned Daemonettes or Fiends if you're tag-teaming them with another unit.
Alternately, tie them up with other units.
