Hello,
I'm building a 6man SWS with demilition charges and I would like to ask the community, and specially those who served in armed forces, what kind of specialised equipment and tools combat engineers in general use, and what specialised equipment and tools the demolition experts use.
The more details, the more happy I would be.
Thank you.

Imperial Guard Landspeeder Pilot
On moon miranda.

Spades/shovels, hammers, pickaxes, wire coils, etc. The FW DKoK Engineers are actually really well designed pieces with solid representative kit.

IRON WITHIN, IRON WITHOUT.
New Heavy Gear Log! Also...Grey Knights!
The correct pronunciation is Imperial Guard and Stormtroopers, "Astra Militarum" and "Tempestus Scions" are something you'll find at Hogwarts. |

Combat engineer units might also carry demolition gear like explosives for breaching obstacles or making paths for assilt units or armour.
One my even have a land mine detector of some kind.
There kit could vary pretty far depending on mission.

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

Here's FW close up on the Engies backpack. One's missing but it should give you a nice idea of the kind of kit they have. You could strap a few of them with some sort of claymores and breaching charges, but these would be kept in some sort of pack as seen here. .jpg) so it might not be that obvious. The big tools you can have were already mentionned, but don't forget the rams, you don't always breach doors using explosives, after all. OH, and wire cutters, to cut through the pesky barbed wire.

Thank you all for reply.
I tought that those 3 who carry a demolition charge might carry two Bangaore Toredoes each on their backpack, as it's easy to model (Im' out of bits ) + random stuff like some C4 brick, or dynamite, or remote detonator.
For the rest, One would carry various tools which has been mentioned here, second might have wire coil and the last could carry a mine detector.
+ some random stuff like poaches, grenades and such...

The heavy weapon sprue has a good combat engineering backpack complete with spade and detonators. There's also some crew parts on both the basilisk and baneblade sprues such as tranch hammers, welding tools and so forth. they're not part of the kit's actual 'look' so you can probably get them off someone with the kit for a pair of lasguns or what have you.
I personally just use massive tank shells and a hammer toss for my demo charges, but I can appreciate a more sensible approach

Heavy weapons carrying tools to dig there weapon in fits or build up cover as adhoc trench.
Al those options listed suit, maybe have a wide range to tools over the sqaud. One could even carry a compact ladder or such for crossing gaps even in trenches or climbing walls.
The gear can be spread over 5-10 men to show there tools are bulky or heavy?

After the battle:
Commissar Jumperuff: Some fight eh?
PSC MacTyranidsmasher : Aye, and some don't.
Commissar Jumperuff: .....
Now I wasn't going to pander to my heritage and locale, my tosser was just a tank crew model with Emprah Hu Akbar! scratched on the tank shell but now this must happen.
