Hey there!

The MkV Mortis can gain the interceptor and skyfire special rule if he stands still in the movement phase.
Can he turn his weapons to shoot at targets?
As I see the model, the upper body is able to rotate 360° on his legs, so he should be able to turn to his targets?!

Funnily enough, from 'Shooting With Walkers' in the Vehicles section:

"When firing a Walker’s weapons assume that weapons mounted on a Walker can swivel horizontally and vertically up to 45°. Range is measured from the weapon itself and line of sight is measured from the mounting point of the weapon and along its barrel, as normal for vehicles."

I believe the draft FAQ has something to say about Walkers and firing arcs, or Walkers' shooting in general, but I'm not too au fait on that.

The first principle is on BRB pg 74 paragraph 3 which, essentially, says 'if a vehicle model's weapons can be move or rotated, it may do so to create line of sight' otherwise assume they can rotate on their mountings. In the case of the Mortis then it depends on how you've build him, i.e. with magnetised joins between the shoulder and gun, and possibly between shoulder and torso. However this is entirely and wholly modelling for advantage and some folks don't approve.

Regarding the turn-to-fire of your question, he could... but it'd have to happen in the movement phase only because where you're facing decides where your front armour is - it's not handled by the rules as written so far as i'm aware.

Beyond that, you have 45 degrees vertical traverse as mentioned, or according to the FAQ 22.5 up and 22.5 down. For hull mounted weapons *only* it's specified as 45 degrees horizontally, or again 22.5 to the left and 22.5 to the right, which thanks to a non-specific mounting location ('carapace' could mean hull or shoulders), may or may not include the carapace missile launcher.

Some people find the idea that other people can be happy offensive, and will prefer causing harm to self improvement.

Walkers do not follow the normal vehicle firing arcs; they are always a 45° cone(22.5° up, down, left, and right).

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
Stop looking for buzz words and start reading the whole sentences.

Kell is in fact quite correct; BRB pg 90 col 2 "shooting with walkers" paragraph 2.
