sorry, the answer might be obvious - its not to me. are all tyranid creatures that are synapse creatures also psyonics ? there is i.e. a witchhunter weapon that has a special effect on psyonic models. i would like to know if all models with "synapse creature" ability would be effected by such abilities.

of course. synapse creature is a psychic power. just that they have it from the start and don't need to test for it, doesn't mean they are no psykers

So, can an argument be made that since it is a "Psychic power" the effects of a synapse creature can be shut down by a psychic hood?

Hoods only work on powers that you have to take a psychic test for.

What about Tzneetch. The Hood still works on kSons.

They take a test, they just autopass it.
