I just found this while watching a video on youtube so I thought I would share it with everyone, thoughts?

BTW, I realize that this man was acting just as silly as the "protesters" but that is no reason to assault someone. Especially when your holding a BLM sign and the man your assaulting is black

Personally I think its a bit ridiculous that someone brought children to a protest like that. The mom or dad had to have been there and was perfectly fine with them accosting someone and the strong language being thrown around.

Well... already I've seen two or three FB posts via friends who have shared Shaun King posts about random, extremely racist and/or sexist incidents happening... and if they are true, it's fethed up that people are already so bold and it's only "day 1"

My thoughts are that this is a troll video which doesn't even hide the fact that it is a troll by putting a trolling image right into the video (besides the title already using the loaded term of 'SJW').

So by starting a thread topic with a troll video and just asking: 'what are your thoughts about this?' The only possible outcome of the thread can be nasty one, because its already started out from a place of trolling. Therefore, I'm going to lock this thread.

And besides:

There are good cops.
There are bad cops.
There are good protesters.
There are bad protesters.
There are protesters who feel it is appropriate (even important) to bring their children to a protest.
There are protesters who feel it isn't appropriate to bring their children to a protest.
There are black people who don't care a lick about black lives matter (or are even against the movement).
There are black lives matter protesters (even white ones) that, in some circumstances, could end up beating a black person.

Absolutely none of that has any bearing on whether or not the issue being protested is a valid one (that there is institutional racism that leads to black people being far more likely to be incarcerated and/or killed by the police than any other race in this country).
