Just made a connection. In WD 127 there's a lot of Eldar background: http://web.archive.org/web/20120505143321/http://www.gamehobby.net/subject_indexes/subject_wh40k_eldar.html

One of the throwaway comments was how Anaris, greatest weapon of Vaul, was lost in the Sea of Broken Tears by Inriam the Young.

Neat little easter egg if that was an intentional tie-in.

What's the background given on the Inriam's Spectre?

Inriam was the last of the line of Eldanesh.
Harlequins take their names and roles from Eldar lore.

Inriam's Spectre was a Death Jester who led a radical faction of the Masque of the Midnight Sorrow. He was one of the few Eldar to give much thought to the awakening of Ynnead and so was a close ally of Eldrad. He also had an appreciation for cosmic follies. At Eldrad's bidding his Harlequins abandoned the defence of the Black Library and stole Crystal Seers from the Hearts of the Eldar Craftworlds for their use in the ritual on Coheria.
He met the Deathwatch in battle there and was killed by Captain Artemis.

Interesting, so it does seem like it's an intentional connection which is a nice bit of interconnected lore
