Yaho,

Theoretical, but highly likely to happen now that a non-vehicle artillery profile fortification exists with an incentive to group units around it. If say a plas dev squad is around a Haemotrope reactor and gets Tank Shocked by a troop choice Chimera in such a way the Haemotrope is underneath it and the devs must move 3" away from it;

1. Does the Haemotrope remain where it is?
1.a If so, does that mean the chimera can't tank shock since it can't be placed on the area terrain it's entering?
2. Is it still claimed at any point during the tank shock?
2.a if so, by whom?
2.b If by the tank shockee, does it take and automatically fail its leadership test [ BRB pg 13 'Automatic pass and fail'] since it's not part of a unit treating it as artillery?
2.b.i does it then fall back?
2.c if by the tank shocker, when - and does it disqualify the tank shock due to tankshockers not being allowed to move over friendly units?

and so on.

Quite possibly the most poorly written Imperial rules i've ever seen.

Some people find the idea that other people can be happy offensive, and will prefer causing harm to self improvement.

I don't think you can Tank Shock a Fortification. At best all you can do is Ram it. The rules I can find on it are rather confusing since it doesn't follow normal Building rules...

Are you a Wolf, a Sheep, or a Hound?

I'd imagine it's somewhat the same as attempting to Tank Shock a Battlefield Debris Gun Emplacement, which at a brief search appears to have been strongly debated and unresolved in the past...

Here are some thoughts.

A Haemotrope reactor is Battlefield Debris, BRB says "battlefield debris is difficult terrain"
As far as I am aware a player is never able to control battlefield debris.
Tank shock effects enemy units, which as the Haemotrope is difficult terrain is not affected.

So to answer your questions.
1) Yes
1.a) Wobbly model syndrome
2) I don't think you can claim battlefield debris at any point.

HIWPI: If the tank lands on top of the Haemotrope just remove the Haemotrope from play.
