So I've been wracking my brain for a while to figure out which army to try to pick up next. I'm trying to figure out a more aggressive playstye army that isn't one of the top 4 (SM, CWE, Necrons, Tau), something not a horde army if possible, and it's own rules wont screw it over (Looking at you Orks and 'Nids..). So far my mind has come up blank, so if you fine folks have any suggestions, I'm all ears.

Everything in the skitarii codex gets a free scout move as well as relentless, furious charge and Crusader.

Its an army comprised of highly mobile infantry and walkers.

Vanguard are Incredibly shooty short range infantry. (very, very good for an aggressive playstyle)

Onegars are 100% mobile at full fire power. (again very good for an aggressive playstyle)

The ability to boost BS and WS for a turn dependent on what is best at the time (adding tactical depth and 1-2 turns of ULTRA shooting/Assult)

AND best of all you also get BAD ASS mecha lance cavalry. 9" movement +3" to run and charge moves. 4 S8 I6 attacks on the charge per model!

Skitarii are great fun! Highly recomend. Their get started box is very good value for money! something like 60% free value.

I do like the robotic/cyborg look of the Skiratii/Cult Mech. Dark Eldar have always been on my radar too. As awesome as Daemons look, they are a bit too assaulty for my tastes. Need something to shoot back with.

Despite Daemons being all about the slaughter of cc they do have some extremely nasty shooting units.
Just to name a few:
Exalted flamers in a warpflame formation for 9x d3 S10 ap2 shots or 9x S6 ap3 torrent.
Slaanesh DP with a lash and iron arm for 2d6 S10 shots.
Fatweaver with his S D ap1 psychic power.
And of course soul grinders.

And if that isn't enough? Why not load up your backfield with extremely cheap renegade artillery to hammer your enemy with?

Orks and nids are not horde armies on the tabletop now. I mean you can play horde with them but it's not gona work.

You could try and wait for SoB to come out. They are a non horde army that likes to get in close and has good shooting (or rather that's what they will be if their rules get better but not different).

Luckilly, orks don't have nipple problems that tend to plague humanity.

A bit of advice on shootiness and demons, if you consider magic shooting you can easily go around as mono-Tzeentch and deep strike blast people with firestorms and infernal gazes. And through in random CSM and renegade allies for artillery and flying health turkey!

Second thing on the daemons and chaos, try Khorne demonkind for extra assaultiness and still some fire support as mauler fiends, chaos space marines to provide bolter support and also soul grinders and extra good cqc. And who doesn't want to remember 5th edition when demons walked along side mortal astartes.

On the contrary I was always going to betray the betrayed due to the overarching betrayal of the great betrayer qhich triggered my inevitable betrayal that I could not control, you however had the choice of not betraying the betrayer who betrayed the betrayeded after being betrayed by another betrayer. Your betrayal was the choice of a true betrayer to betray my betrayal of the betrayer.
