So I got a new Galaxy S7 (up from an S4!)

Looking for recommendations about apps to get.

Music, photo, power management, games, etc.

Free would be best right at this moment but don't be afraid to mention purchase apps too.

Do you like Futurama? The Futurama themed Candy Crush clone is fething great! I'm on lvl 475 right now.

Edit: it's free to play with the usual in app purchases if you wish.

I do enjoy it. But never been a big candy crush type game fan.

Umm....I think those are about the only ones that I use often.

Don't really get into snap chat, Instagram, pinterest, etc. Not a Skype either.

If you like weird puzzle games, check out the Cube Escape / Rusty Lake games (Cube Escape free, Rusty Lake not free).
The Room series of games are pretty great, too (but not free).

I'd say get a countdown timer so you can use it as a time bomb.

In the off chance you play Avalon Hill's Civilisations: The Board Game, there is a free civTool app that helps you track all your tech advances and does all the complimentary discounts for you, which really speeds up the buying phase.

I really liked Hearthstone, just haven't been playing much because it requires internet to work and mine can be spotty when not at home.

Fallout Shelter was pretty fun till I maxed everything, maybe play in Survival mode so there's actually consequences?

Both are totally free. I do not get the incentive to pay in Fallout, though Hearthstone I can see the appeal.
