It has been shown a lot in the lore from various writers that Space Marines' equipment and vehicles are seen as being 'holier' more valuable and over all just better than yours, puny mortal. I can't remember where I read it but I'm fairly sure an Astartes once told a regular human to "remember their place" when they tried to touch his Bolter.

But is that so on the production line? Of course some Space Marine equipment is produced by Techmarines and Chapter Serfs, but what about those that are produced by Mechanicum slaves in hive world manufactorums? Are they considered above all else while still incomplete or is it being a full blown tool of the Astartes what gives it it's value?

Or am I going mad? Thoughts?

3000pts Blood Angels (4th Company) - 2000pts Skitarii (Voss Prime) - 2500pts Imperial Knights (Unnamed House) - 1000pts Imperial Guard (Household Retainers)

2000pts Free Peoples (Edlynd Fusiliers) - 2000pts Kharadron Overlords (Barak Zilfin) - 500pts Ironweld Arsenal (Edlynd Ironwork Federation) - 1000pts Duardin (Grongrok Powderheads)

Wargaming's no fun when you have a plan!

My impression has always been that production lines are overseen by bearers of the Imperial Truth, and that they bless each piece as it is forged.

No weapon will leave the factory levels and be shipped without full whatever blessings, oilings and packed provably in solid travel cases

The gear is very valuable. Even a bolter is a expensive weapon to make.

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

I have no clue how Dakka's moderation work. I expect it involves throwing a lot of d100 and looking at many random tables.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all.
