I'm having a hard time finding what might be helpful specialists. FNP or sharpshooter or stealth seem like they might be ok. Any sugesstions

Is your strike team coming pulse rifle or carbine? Or mixed?

Are you prepared to have a nice long argument about the SMS turret with kill team interactions?

Would a devil fish (which is considered strong in kill team) be distasteful to you, because that gives you another source of for-sure legal sms, and armor 12-11 front side should resist many kill team level weapons.

It's all pulse rifles. As for turrets the rules were it stays with one guy.

Do you have any kroot? With infiltrate, being able to start the game on the objectives (depending on what games you play) can be very impactful, and 6pts per model not a as big of a loss to lose them. and you can spam sniper rounds for 1 pt/model which can add up quick.

Some of it is a matter of taste. 20 firewarriors with 8 s5ap5 ignores cover shots over the entire 48" square board is not to be underestimated. But a chimera's front armor is going to ignore you, as well as an armored sentinel.

Mostly a troll list, but in 200 points could be 5 piranhas which come with 10 drones, that's 10 bs2 TL s5ap5 18" pinning shots, with 5 more heavy 4 s5ap5 vehicle based 18" shots, on fast skimmers... it's not worthless. lose 1 piranha and upgrade the remaining 4 to mix of fusion blasters and sensor spines (move through cover)

Kill team is great, it lets so many previously bad units be viable in a new way.

You have to field at least 4 non-Vehicle models in KT.

I really like Kroot with Sniper Rounds and Stealth Teams for KTs, the entire KT infiltrates, 'Massed' Sniper Shots and JSJ is always super useful.

I've had a good time holding my own against horde teams and SM teams with

8x Strike Team: 72pts- Preferred Enemy

Crisis Battlesuit: 52pts - 2x Missile Pods- Leader
Crisis Battlesuit: 42pts - 2x Burst Cannon- Split Fire
Crisis Battlesuit: 32pts - 2x Flamer- Feel No Pain
198 Points Total

As an aside, does your leader have to be the character with the highest leadership? If not, then all specialist traits go to the suits.
*** EDIT: JUST CHECKED***KT rules state, highest leadership model must be the leader.
Maybe create a FW Shas'ui and drop a FW.

Also, just ran this list against a non mech SM and IG with only 6 FW(bad math) and... Well, I won.
