Hi guys,

How does a twin-linked flamer interact with the No Escape rule against open topped vehicle? Do I get to re roll the to wounds rolls that are generated? Or there's no difference between shooting at an open topped vehicle with twin linked flamer or regular flamer?

Thank you!

There is no noted difference for Wounds caused by No Escape.

Edit: Let me clarify, there is no noted difference for Wounds caused by No Escape and if the unit was out in the open when it comes to Twin-Linked.

But No Escape hits do not benefit from any special rules.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Their Special Rules are not specifically included, but they are not specifically excluded, either.

Certain template weapons have special rules - e.g. Soul Blaze, Twin-linked, etc. There was also the Abyssal Staff (which had Str 8, but a special rule stating that it rolled to wound against leadership rather than toughness). The question on whether these special rules apply to No Escape has been asked before.
